Chapter 1: Curiosity Killed The Cat

Lena drew deep onto her cigarette as she looked out of her kitchen window. She watched intently as the trash men made their way down her block. There were five of them today, two in the cab, three collecting. Another drag from her Marlboro and she made up her mind.
