This story is told from the point of view of both the man and the woman, in an alternating style. And, I fully admit it, there's a slow buildup. If you're looking for a *quot;wham, bam, thank you ma'am.*quot; kinda story, this isn't it. I like to take my time when writing a story. And, hopefully, this is just the beginning of this saga so I'm offering up some background and laying some ground work for the characters.

[Part One - as told by Caroline]

Louis called me this afternoon, asking if I'd be available to baby-sit this Friday night. He said he had a business awards dinner to go to and that he may not be home until as late as 2 am. Since it'll be such a late night, he's promised to tip me extra well and he's insisting that I stay the night because he doesn't want me driving home by myself at that hour. Well, okay then, who am I to say no to that?!

Louis is 45, but really doesn't look a day over 30. He's about 6'2*quot;, dark brown eyes, and an amazing smile that never fails to make me weak in the knees! Oh, and he's a single father; divorced for about 3 years now. And, I suppose that since I'm making introductions, I might as well describe myself now, too. I've known Louis for about 7 years now; we met through a friend of his, whose children I used to baby-sit for.

My name is Caroline, I'm 25 years old and am often described as *quot;the girl next-door*quot; or *quot;an all American girl*quot;. I guess that's fair, though, as I have aqua blue eyes, long, pale blonde hair, and am 5'9*quot;. And, to top it off, yes, I was a cheerleader in high school and I'm now a coach for the local high school's varsity squad.

So, back to what I was saying..... Louis needed a 'sitter for Friday night and I jumped at the chance!! His kids, Aimee I've been trying to drop not-so-subtle hints for years now!!)

I had to be at their house at 6:30, which, thankfully, gave me enough time to come home to shower and freshen up after work. I really wanted to look hot, but, since I was going to be baby-sitting, I knew better than to try to go too sexy! So I settled on a pair of white Converse sneakers, my favorite jeans, and a blue t-shirt that really brings out the color of my eyes. And I did make sure to blow dry and style my hair and I took some extra time doing my make-up.

It took me less than twenty minutes to get to Louis' house, my heart pounding with excitement the entire way! When I arrived, Louis was outside, using a leaf blower. He jumped a mile when he saw me, but it was cute and he immediately put the leaf blower down and swept me up in a big hug, giving me a kiss on the cheek. (the hug is normal, he always hugs me when he sees me, but he very rarely goes for the kiss on the cheek - what a nice surprise!)

We talked outside for a few minutes, as he got his gardening tools put away, and he mentioned that I was looking great! Which, of course, thrilled me! We were about to step inside when Mikey came bounding out the door, obviously excited to see me. It was sweet.

Louis went to change and I settled down on the living room floor to play a game of cards with Aimee
